Biography

Janice Rankin was a member of the World Junior Champion rink in 1992 and went on to win silver medals at the 1994 World Championships and the 1998 European Championships. A recruitment adviser from the far north of Scotland she played lead at the Salt Lake Olympics and recorded of the best shot averages of the tournament. She was also part of Scottish title winning teams in 1994 and 2000. Rankin was in the final shortlist of ten for the 2006 Games but failed to gain a spot on the team. Her husband Stephen was a Scottish Championship winner in 2002.
