Biography

Phil Reilly was a sabre fencer who competed for St. John’s University. He was runner-up in sabre at the 1973 NCAAs, his senior year. Reilly was runner-up at the US Nationals from 1980-83. He competed for the US at the 1973 and 1979 Universiade; the 1978, 1981, and 1982 World Championships; and won team silver medals in sabre at the 1979 and 1983 Pan American Games.

Reilly later went into marketing, working for a bit for RJR Nabisco and then joining CMD Agency in 1995. He served as chief operating officer at CMD for several years and in 2007 was named President of the marketing company. Reilly has represented some of the world’s top brands, including Pepsi-Cola, Cadbury Schweppes, Starbucks, Apple and Intel.
