Biography

Joy Kitzmiller played singles and doubles badminton for the United States at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. She was on the US national team from 1984-94 and again in 2002. KItzmiller was US singles champion in 1987-88, 1992, and 1994, and won US doubles titles in 1991-92. She played in seven Uber Cups during her career. She also competed at the 1987 World Championship and the 2001 Sudirman Cup, the world mixed team championships. Kitzmiller later settled in Manhattan Beach, California where she worked as a coach.
