Biography

Steve Salmons was an All-American in 1978, 1979, and 1980 at UCLA, helping them win the 1979 NCAA title. Salmons competed with the US national team from 1979-86, playing at the 1979 Pan American Games. He then won a gold medal at the 1984 NORCECA Championship, gold at the 1984 Olympics and 1986 World Championships, and a silver at the 1986 Goodwill Games. Salmons went into the real estate business, eventually starting his own company in the San Diego area, Commercial Properties Services (CPS).
