Biography

Mike Sharpe was a sprinter who ran the 100 metres and the 4x100 relay at the 1976 Montréal Olympics. He also excelled as a triple jumper and played competitive cricket. Sharpe was a seven-time medalist at the CARIFTA Games in the 1970s. He attended the University of Florida in the United States and later became a sports and news journalist at the Bermuda Broadcasting Company.
