Biography

A member of a prominent Seychelles family, Henri Dauban de Silhouette was brought up in France and spent little more than a year in England working for a commercial firm in London. He joined Blackheath Harriers in June 1923 and left the club at the end of the following season. In this time he won the Southern Counties javelin in 1924, placed second in the AAA Championships and, as a British subject, represented Britain at the 1924 Olympic Games.
