Biography

John Salisbury had the following podium finishes at major championships: 2nd in the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 4×440 yards Relay (with Derek Johnson, John Wrighton, and the non-Olympian Ted Sampson). Salisbury also finished fourth in the 440 yards at the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games. In the British Empire and Commonwealth Games he competed for England.

Personal Best: 400 – 46.5 (1958).
