Biography

Clarence Jaquith competed for the Chicago AA as a triple jumper. At the AAU meet he finished third in 1917 and fourth in 1920 and 1923. The 1920 AAU Meet doubled as the Olympic Trials so his fourth place finish placed him on the team. Jaquith worked in various jobs over the years, as a bookkeeper, a maintenance man, and a cashier, often for labor unions.
