Biography

Manuela Oschmann was a cross-country skier who started her career in the former East Germany, winning two bronze medals with the relays at the 1984 and 1985 Youth World Championships, and another bronze at the Senior Worlds in 1985. After reunification, she won three golds and a bronze at the German nationals. The 1992 Albertville Olympics were disappointing for her, with a best result of 15th in the 15 km individual.
