Biography

Beth Paxson was a junior star in Nordic skiing in the US, being selected in both 1977 and 1978 as Junior Nordic Competitor of the Year by Ski Racing Magazine. Paxson was on the 1978 US team at the World Championships and the 1980 Winter Olympics. She was US Champion at 20K in 1979, and finished second that year in 10K. Paxson attended the University of Vermont, graduating in 1984.
