Biography

Willi Egger was an Austrian competitor in Nordic combined and ski jumping, and participated in three editions of the Winter Olympics from 1956 at Cortina d’Ampezzo to 1964 at Innsbruck. He finished 16th in the Nordic combined in 1956 and 12th in the large hill ski jumping in 1964 as his best results.

Egger was also a participant in Four Hills Tournaments with the following results: 1957/58 Garmisch-Partenkirchen winner, 1959/60 Bischofshofen third, 1960/61 Innsbruck winner; 1961/62 total second, Garmisch-Partenkirchen second, and Bischofshofen winner. At the 1962 World Championships he placed tenth in the normal hill and seventh in the large hill competitions.
