Biography

Andy Witt played volleyball at Stanford and then for the US National Team from 1998-2000 as an opposite hitter, including at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. He was an All-American at Stanford in 1998 and as a freshman led the Cardinal to the 1997 NCAA title. After the Olympics Witt returned to the beach. He had played beach volleyball since 1997, and continued through 2004. He also played professionally in Italy with Palermo Volley in 2000/01 and Senza Confini Trieste in 2001/02.
