Description

The National Olympic Committee of Paraguay was established on 11 August 1970. Paraguay has competed at every Olympic Games since their début in 1968, with the exception of the 1980 Moskva Olympics.

Paraguay has won one medal at the Olympic Games. In 2004, their football (soccer) team was defeated by Argentina in the final, earning a silver medal.

Paraguay has had one athlete compete at the Olympic Winter Games, which occurred in 2014, when freestyle skier Julia Marino finished 17th in women’s slopestyle.
