Racquets (or Rackets, in British English), has been contested as an Olympic sport only in 1908, when a men’s singles and doubles event was held in London. While its offshoot squash has become a popular sport worldwide, racquets remains obscure. It is mainly contested in the United States and Great Britain, and lacks an international governing body.
