Christian Perthaler was an Austrian ice hockey player who competed in 1998 at Nagano and 2002 at Salt Lake City. A right wing, he finished 14th and 12th with the Austrian team, respectively. He earned 60 international caps and scored 27 points (11 goals and 17 assists).
Domestically, Perthaler played with EV Innsbruck (1988-93), EK Zell am See (1994-95), Klagenfurter AC (1995-98), VEU Feldkirch (1998-99), helping them win the Austrian nationals in 1999, Klagenfurt again (1999-2002), and Black Wings Linz (2001-08). After his active career he became a sport manager at EHC Linz and later at EHV Linz.
