Biography

Sjraar Cuijpers was the city architect in Sittard. The design for the swimming pool in the city park of Sittard, which he submitted in 1936 with his partner, the city planner Ben Moolhuysen, was realized in 1933. It was in operation until 1985 and demolished 10 years later except for the entrance building. The main planner of the city park was Dirk Tersteeg.
