Biography

German snowboarder Mathias Behounek came 16th in the parallel giant slalom event at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. In total, he won four World Cup races and enjoyed several more podium finishes, and took part in all FIS World Championships between 1996 and 2003.

By profession, Behounek became a software developer at SAFELOG company dealing with picking and packing products. In June 2016, he was appointed to the management of the company based in Markt Schwaben near München.
