Tanja Schneider was an Austrian alpine skier specialising in downhill, super-G, and giant slalom. She participated at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics in the super-G event but could not finish the race. At her only World Championships in 2001, she placed 16th in the super-G. In total, she gained four podiums at World Cup races.
