Biography

German alpine skier Annemarie Gerg, cousin of Hilde Gerg, was a slalom and giant slalom specialist who finished seventh in the slalom event at the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics. At Salt Lake City in 2002, she placed 22nd in the giant slalom. In 1994, she had won a silver and a bronze medal at the Youth Worlds. Nationally, Gerg won one giant slalom and five slalom titles. Gerg retired in 2007 and successfully completed her bachelor’s degree in the art of health management. She then founded her own company “inmotion - Annemarie Gerg”.
