Biography

Felicia Eze was a midfielder who starred for Nigeria on the football pitch. She played for the Super Falcons team that won the gold medal at the 2003 All-African Games, and also led Nigeria to the 2004 African Women’s Championship. She turned professional after the Athens Olympics and played with the Ufuoma Babes of Warri, later moving to the Delta Queens of Asaba, a team which she captained for five years and led to three national league titles. She then played for FCT Queens of Abuja and finished her career with an English club for two season before retiring in 2009. Unfortunately she died very young, aged only 37.
