Biography

Michael Poulin is considered one of the most influential US equestrians in the discipline of dressage. He competed at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, helping win a bronze medal in the team dressage. He later started and ran the Poulin School of Dressage at the Dressage Center in DeLeon Springs, Florida. He has been a long-time member of the Board of Directors and Dressage Committee of the United States Equestrian Federation, and helped found the United States Dressage Federation’s Instructor Certification Program. Poulin was a founder of the North American Dressage Trainers Association and is also a member of the Classical Dressage Riders Association. He has also served as a dressage judge both nationally and internationally.
