Biography

Cyclist Henry Tröndle withdrew from the 1932 100-km road race because of two flat tyres, which is why he was not mentioned in the team competition. He emigrated to the USA in 1925, where he Americanized his name to Henry Trondle (birth name: Heinrich Tröndle). In 1927 he applied for US citizenship, but still represented Germany in 1932.
