Biography

David Boll attended Stanford, graduating in 1977. He competed for the Century Road Club of America. Boll placed fifth at the 1975 US Championships in the road race and was second in 1976. His biggest victory came in winning the 1976 Tour of Somerville. At the time of the 1976 Olympics he had only been racing for three years, and no major results are known for him after 1976.

Boll later became President and CEO of Heartwood Cabinets in Santa Clara County, California, a premier cabinet manufacturer that was founded in 1982. He also has served as Chairman of the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, beginning in 2007, and as Director on the Loma Prieta Resource Conservation District Board, starting in 2004.
