Biography

Road cyclist Christian Henn won the bronze medal in the individual road race at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, representing West Germany. He won the Hessen Tour in 1986 and the Rheinland-Pfalz Tour in 1988. After the Olympics he turned professional and rode with Team Telekom. Henn took part in several the editions of Tour de France. In 1996 he won the individual road race national title.

In 1997, Henn won the Bayern and Hessen Tours. In 1999, he had increased his testosterone levels and was banned for six months. He then retired and confessed in 2007 that he used doping substances from 1995-99. Henn later turned to cycling management and worked with Team Telekom, Team Gerolsteiner, Team Milram, and Team Lotto Kernhaus.
