Biography

East German cyclist Roland Hennig was a member of the silver winning 4,000 metres track pursuit team at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. In 1986 and 1987 he won the national title with his home club SC Cottbus. He also won silver medals at the World Championships in both years. By profession, Hennig was a trained automotive metal worker.
