Biography

As a track specialist, Miguel Mora had a solid year in 1960 before he represented Spain at Roma. He won the sprint championship of the Balearic Isles, and placed second in the Spanish national track championships in the individual pursuit, points race, and motor-paced race. After the Olympics, Mora turned professional, winning the Spanish national title in individual pursuit in 1961 and 1962, placing second in 1963 and third in 1964. He also rode one major six-day race, that in Madrid in 1961, in which he placed 12th.
