Biography

German track cyclist August Rieke from Bielefeld was eliminated in the quarter finals of the sprint at the 1960 Roma Olympic Games. In 1959 he was West German tandem champion together with non-Olympian Wilhelm Bulk, and in 1960 with non-Olympian Rolf Roggendorf. He added a few more podiums until 1962.
