In the early 1990s Kalimanto Tulus Widodo represented Indonesia at international track cycling competitions. In 1991 Widodo won gold in both the sprint and 1,600 metres mass start at the Southeast Asian Games in Manila. The following year he was selected to compete in the sprint event at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, but lost to Rolf Furrer (SUI) in the repêchage round. After his track career Widodo remained in the sport, working as a coach to young cyclists.
