Biography

Roger Basset won a silver medal in tug-of-war at the 1900 Paris Olympics. He competed for Racing Club de France. In athletics Basset also competed in the handicap shot put event, placing second. He was born in Paris, in the 3rd arrondissement, but nothing else is known of his life.
