Biography

Gilles Capelle was a French hockey player who represented Montrouge CA during the 1970s as their goalkeeper. Capelle was part of the French squad that competed at the 1972 München Olympics and finished in 12th place. After his international career he remained involved in the sport helping young players participate in hockey. His brother Jean-Paul played in the French squad at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics.
