Biography

Ray Wittelsberger started school at Baltimore City College where he played football, but he then transferred to Loyola College of Baltimore, where he played lacrosse and twice made All-American. Wittelsberger helped start the Maryland Lacrosse Club. He played hockey (field) for the Baltimore Field Hockey Club. He also made the 1952 US team in hockey but did not go to Helsinki. At the time of the 1956 Olympics he was working in the office equipment business.
