Spanish football defender Pedro Camus began his senior career with Racing de Santander in the 1972–73 season, playing in 101 league matches over the next five seasons. During this time Camus also represented the Spanish national team at the 1976 Montréal Olympics, playing in the matches against Brazil and East Germany. For the 1978–79 season he joined Real Zaragoza, playing in 116 league matches before he left the club following a dispute. Camus then finished his playing career with CD Tenerife, playing one season for the club in 1982–83.
