Biography

Delfo Bellini was a top defender who played mostly for Genova CFC, helping them win their ninth and last Italian Championship. He played for multiple teams during his career, including Samperdarenese, Sestrese, Genova CFC, Internazionale, La Dominante of Genova (formed by the merger of Andrea Doria and Sampierdarenese), and Livorno. Bellini earned eight caps with the Azzurri national team. He played in only one match at the 1928 Olympics, but it was the bronze medal match against, which Italy won 11-3.
