Biography

Pietro Genovesi played for his hometown Bologna team during his entire career, lasting from 1919-33. He played 250 matches with them, scoring 35 goals. Genovesi helped Bologna win Italian Championships in 1925 and 1929. He earned 10 international caps with the Azzurri, helping them win the 1932 Central European International Cup, after making his début in a friendly against France in 1921. Genovesi also helped Italy win the bronze medal at the 1928 Olympics.
