Biography

Antonio Janni played almost his entire career with FC Torino, from 1919-37, finishing his final season with Varese. Janni played in 322 matches with Torino, scoring 48 goals. He helped them win Italian Championships in 1927 and 1928, although the 1927 title was later revoked, and win the Coppa Italia in 1936.

Janni was a midfielder with the Azzurri from 1924-29, earning 23 caps. From 1937-60 Janni was a coach with various teams. He led Varese, FC Torino (during World War II), S.P.A.L. in Ferrara, AC Novara, and finished his career with US Ravenna.
