Biography

Mario Meneghetti, a midfielder, started his career with Voluntas Novara but from 1912-30, save for two years with Juventus FC, he was a star for Novara Calcio, where he played about 150 matches with 25 goals. In spite of not being very tall he was an excellent header. He earned three caps, the first in Genova in May 1920 against the Netherlands, and then played two matches at the 1920 Olympics in the consolation tournament.
