Biography

Defender Stefano Rossini made his Serie A début with Internazionale in 1989. In seven seasons playing in the top level of Italian football, he also played for Parma, Inter for a second spell, Udinese, Piacenza, Atalanta and Lecce. In the latter part of his career Rossini played in Serie C and D with the likes of Pizzighettone, Fidenza, Oltrepò and Fiore Calcio.

Rossini was uncapped at senior international level, but won 32 under-21 caps, and scored two goals. He was a member of the 1992 European Under-21 Championship-winning team, and was also a member of the 1992 Barcelona Olympics squad, and appeared in all four of Italy’s matches, as a substitute in each game. After ending his playing career in the 2010/11 season, Rossini turned to coaching.
