Biography

Enea Zuffi was a forward who played only two matches with the national team, both at the 1912 Olympic tournament. The team was eliminated in the semi-final of the consolation round after losing to Finland in the first round in overtime. From 1908-13, Zuffi played for two clubs in the same city – Torino FC (1908-10, 1912-13) and Juventus FC (1910-12). In 1909, he participated in the Sir Thomas Lipton Trophy, where he scored the winning goal to secure his Torino FC a third-place finish.

Born to an Irish mother, Zuffi married Giuseppina Giulia Roggieri in 1923. One year later, their only child, a daughter, was born. He worked as a merchant of iron products in Torino together with his father of the same name. Zuffi was later appointed Knight of the Order of Merit for Labour.
