Biography

Miles Joseph played in college at Clemson University. He was with US national teams at the 1993 U-20 World Cup and the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Joseph later earned three full caps with the US National Team.

Joseph played professionally in Major League Soccer (MLS) from 1996-2001 with the MetroStars (1996-2000), the Columbus Crew in 2000, and finishing with one year in 2001 with the Dallas Burn. He later returned to play indoor soccer in 2003 with the Dallas Sidekicks.

Joseph became a soccer coach / manager. In MLS he worked as an assistant coach with Real Salt Lake (2010-14), New York City FC (2014-15), and Orlando City SC (2016-18). He also coached the Siena College women’s team starting in 2003. In 2017 Joseph joined Real Salt Lake as a member of the technical coaching staff. In 2018 he was named as an assistant coach of the Portland Timbers.
