Biography

Emilio Campos was born in Spain and moved to Venezuela when he was eight, where he began to play football. Campos studied at the ULA in Mérida, joining ULA Mérida FC in 1977, turning professional with the club. He also played for Estudiantes de Mérida from 1985 to 1987, and won domestic competitions with both teams. Campos played internationally for Venezuela, including matches at the 1979 Copa América, the 1980 Moskva Olympics and several friendly matches.
