Biography
Polyktor faced Sosander of Smyrna in the final. Polyktor’s father ensured victory by bribing Sosander’s father. The bribe was exposed prior to the match that subsequently took place. Heavy fines were placed on both fathers and the proceeds were used to construct victory statues.
