Biography

Arsinoë II was the first daughter of Pharaoh Ptolemy I Soter. She was also the brother of Ptolemy II of Philadelphus, who would later become her husband. Arsinoë II won two titles at Ancient Olympia, winning the synoris and colts’ tethrippon in 272 BCE at the 127th Olympiad.
