Biography

A defender and midfielder, Kaiser Kalambo started his senior career with Roan United in 1970, but switched to Ndola United in 1973. He made his début with the national team in 1973 and played with them through 1982. In 1974 he was on the Zambian team that went to the final of the African Cup. He played in the African Cup again in 1977 and 1980, and was named Zambian Footballer of the Year in 1980. He finished his career with Ndola Lime FC from 1983-86 as a player-coach.

Kalambo then coached from 1983-2011 with multiple clubs. He was with Vitafoam United FC in 1987, Township Rollers FC from 1989-91, Blue Diamonds FC in 1992-96 and again from 1999-2009, Botswana Meat Commission FX from 1996-98, Konkola Blades FC in 2009-10, before finishing his career with National Assembly FC in 2011.
