Biography

Michelle Berube competed in rhythmic gymnastics for the United States at both the 1984 and 1988 Olympics. Berube was US Champion in 1983. She competed at the World Championships in 1981 and 1983. Her major international medal was a silver at the 1988 Four Continents Championship. Berube worked as a model near the end of her career and later moved to Los Angeles and worked in the entertainment field, especially as a magician’s assistant. She appeared at the American Music Awards, on Michael Jackson’s “Dangerous World Tour,” and had a brief appearance in Quentin Tarantino’s film “From Dusk to Dawn.” She also appeared in the 1997 movie “Jackie Brown,” and the 1998 TV movie, “Breaking the Magician’s Code.”
