Biography

William Samaniego was an international volleyball referee and coach from Peru. Samaniego represented the FIVB at multiple tournaments, including the World Championships, and the Olympics in 1980 and 1984. In 1994 he became the director of the Peruvian College of Volleyball Referees. He later worked for the Peruvian Volleyball Federation, where he took charge of the refereeing aspects of tournaments, in addition to leading on improving techniques for referees.
