Biography

János Héder studied medicine in Pécs, later specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. He won the Hungarian junior gymnastics title in 1952 and made the Hungarian A team one year later. Internationally, Héder competed at two World Championships, the 1956 Olympics, and the 1954 World University Games. He later became an international judge and served on the Hungarian Gymnastics Federation Referee Committee and with the Hungarian Gymnastics Federation.
