Ferenc Szűts was a founding member of BBTE in 1909. He participated in the 1912 Stockholm Olympics, where he was a member of the Hungarian team that finished second. In 1913, he graduated from the University of Law in Budapest and later worked as an advocate. From 1922-61, he was a member of the Budapest Advocat Association.
