Biography

Alfredo Accorsi competed with his hometown club Ferrara for 20 years. He achieved a great deal of success from the 1901 Bologna competition to the prestigious Venezia event in 1907, where he and the team won the bronze medal in the senior artistic competition.

After the 1908 London Olympics, Accorsi continued to excel for many seasons, even after World War II. In 1920, he was again part of the team that won first place ahead of 97 other Italian teams at Venezia. Having moved up to the Veterans category, Accorsi placed second in the Trieste event in 1924, confirming his competitive longevity.
