Rudolph Novak competed in all nine gymnastics events with the USA team at the 1924 Paris Olympics. His best individual finish was =31st in rope climbing. Novak had started gymnastics with the Sokols in 1904. Novak served in World War I, and later became an insurance underwriter in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with Northwestern Mutual Insurance Company.
