Biography

Daron Kirkreit was a starting pitcher who was drafted by the Cleveland Indians as the 11th pick of the first in the 1993 MLB Draft. Kirkreit played minor league ball from 1993-2002, making it as far as Triple A in 1997 with the Buffalo Bisons of the American Association, an Indians affiliate, but he never played in the majors. Kirkreit spent time in the Indians, Milwaukee Brewers, Kansas City Royals, Seattle Mariners, and Anaheim Angels minor league systems. He played for 12 different minor league teams, mostly in A and Double A ball. Kirkreit finished with a minor league career record of 49 wins, 56 losses, and an ERA of 4.56.
